On Wednesday 25 February, Swansea West Fire Station hosted a successful Brew with a Crew event.
The event provided an opportunity for the local community to visit the station, meet the crew, and enjoy an informal chat over tea and coffee. The day also raised funds for two charities – the Fire Fighters Charity and Age UK.
There was a strong turnout from the local community, including residents from Bloomfield Care Home, who enjoyed meeting the crew and receiving a tour of the fire appliances and facilities at the station.
Councillor Lyndon Jones MBE of Swansea Council also attended the event, stopping by for a cuppa and to show his support.
Thanks to everyone’s generosity, the event raised a fantastic £110 for the chosen charities.
