On Thursday, July 4th, Neath Port Talbot Social Services team received Referral and Fire Awareness Training (RAFAT) followed by a station visit courtesy of Green Watch at Port Talbot Fire Station.
RAFAT training is offered to Partners who work with vulnerable adults who may be at risk of fire. The partner refers the householder to the Fire Service for a free Safe and Well check where our focus is on prevention and protection.
By increasing our partnership working, we increase our engagement with those at highest risk of fire related harm.
